Journal: Intimate Writings of a Relationship with God
It’s been over seven years since I received a Word from a young prayer warrior about writing this book. We honored this Word from the Lord by making it the very first journal entry in our book. I had called the prayer line to submit a prayer request, and after we prayed, the young man told me he had a Word for me. He said The Lord says you are going to write a book and it will bless many, many people. He did not know me. I had not spoken to him before, and no one knew I had been working on this book idea. I began to weep, and he then gently and lovingly said, “God is only confirming what He has already placed in your heart to do.”
We as a body of believers each have our own personal walk of faith—a journey with the Father, crammed full of countless testimonies of answered prayer and unexpected, awe-inspiring miracles. This is a glimpse into one of those many walks. A single mother and her daughter invite you to step inside the pages of their personal spiritual diary. Experience, through their eyes, the faithfulness of a loving Father, in times of happiness and joy and in times of heartache and financial crisis, through faith grounded in the Rock, Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
